Health360x empower people to self-manage their health with the help of a physician or health coach. Track and monitor several key health attributes: blood pressure, blood glucose, height, and weight from any mobile device or browser. Health360x is a tool to help prevent and manage many at-risk diseases such as diabetes by connecting you to our online community and resources.
Over 4 million African Americans aged 20 years or older have been diagnosed with diabetes. In 2015, Health360x joined the fight by hosting its first nature walk at Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The event’s focus was to show community members a fun physical activity that anyone can do a... nature walk/hike. The following year we switched locations to Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, a beautiful facility located in the heart of the Southwest Atlanta community. This location was more central to the community we serve at Morehouse School of Medicine, with plenty of free parking. The Reserve is open to the community.
On November 11 Health360x will host the 3rd Annual Hike It Out at Cascade Springs Nature Preserve. We will educate the community on diabetes and highlight the fun physical activities available in the South West Atlanta area. The bulk of the money raised will go towards funding for Health360x, enabling us to expand the capabilities of the Health360x mobile app. Partial proceeds will also be donated to the Westside Atlanta Watershed Alliance. This event is an effort to increase attention about the seriousness of the diabetes as well as highlight the Preserve. By making a donation and participating, you will help make an impact on diabetes disparities and cardiovascular disease in the Atlanta Metro area.
With you $50 donation you will receive a hat, t-shirt and sport bottle.
