Bahamas Medical Humanitarian Aid

Dr. Shaneeta Johnson, associate professor of surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine, is on the ground in the Bahamas, where thousands of children and families are trying to recover after Hurricane Dorian pummeled the islands. Working with Operation Giving Back, the humanitarian and global arm of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Johnson has pulled together a network of peers to gather and transport needed medical supplies to the area. The need is great and it is dire. Hence, Dr. Johnson is also calling upon her Morehouse School of Medicine family for charitable donations to cover the costs of the vast supplies needed and the transport of those supplies to the Bahamas. This crowdfunding initiative has been created to allow the MSM community to support this relief effort through a 100-percent tax-deductible donation. Collected donations* will be given to the Consul General Armbrister-Rolle in support of the Bahamas Medical Humanitarian Aid. Make a meaningful gift today by selecting a donation level to the right. Once you've made your gift, don't forget to share your support across your social media with your family and friends to encourage them to join you in helping the Bahamas in its recovery.

*A five-percent administrative fee is charged for processing of donations.
